Sneeweis is an independent game studio consisting of Ville Lundberg with regular collaborators. We make games we want to play ourselves.
History
Since getting his feet wet with programming at around 11, Ville Lundberg always rather analyzed games “I wonder how this is done?” than tried to master the game. Growing up with programming as a hobby, it took a turn towards more serious in 2004, when he founded his sole proprietorship to do more professional programming. At that time, however, the plans were much more aligned towards B2B software. The dozen game ideas always loomed in the background. In 2010 the company took another step by transforming into a Ltd. Still, game ideas were held back and honed, in a mix of other business ideas, in a two-person think tank. In 2012 things started to happen. First the plan was to create some mobile applications, perhaps games also, as a hobby alongside the day job. But in 2013 some opportunities presented themselves and the leap was made: the Ltd. became an actual game studio and took the name Sneeweis.
Since August 2013 Sneeweis has been released its first game Oggipital on June 6th, 2014, and Smart Kat on November 17th, 2016, and is planning on releasing a few smaller games in end 2016 – begin 2017.
